The mission of the IALEF is to provide scholarships to qualified students attending Harford Community College or Cecil College and/or to provide financial assistance to help students to go to college. The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The Foundation shall accomplish these purposes to promote the educational pursuits of qualified students to attend college, primarily those who are attending Harford Community College or Cecil College, e.g., scholarships or other financial assistance.
