Donald J. Waldon Scholarship Presentation

The Donald J. Waldon Memorial Scholarship was established in 1976, in honor and memory of Brother Waldon, a Charter Member and second president of the Iota Alpha Lambda Chapter (IAL) of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Since its inception, the Donald J. Waldon Memorial Scholarship has provided full, academic scholarships to Cecil College and Harford Community College students. Associate degrees from those schools continue to propel scholarship recipients toward earning four-year and advanced degrees and into productive careers.

The Donald J. Waldon Memorial Scholarship is one of several non-government sources for financing college-level academics in Cecil and Harford Counties. IAL is honored to be a part of this multi-group effort to enhance the positive development of our youth.
